Q. What materials do you use?
A. We have design and manufacturer flexibility and can install any type. However, we typically install TAMKO asphalt shingles.
Q. How long has GreenGuard Construction Inc been in business?
A. We have been in business since Sept. 2004. We are a BBB accredited company with an A+ rating.
Q. Why should I choose GreenGuard Construction Inc?
A. We are a premier G.C. that specializes in Insurance Restoration. We make sure your claim is settled simple and hassle free. We have processed over six thousand claims in the past. 95% of our business is insurance claims.
Q. Won’t my premiums increase for filing a claim?
A. The insurance company cannot raise your rates for filing a hail or wind claim. It is considered a comprehensive loss or “An Act of God” which is out of your control. What insurance companies can do is collectively raise rates based on an area demographic and the amount of previous storms on record.
Q. Is GreenGuard Construction Inc Licensed, Bonded and Insured?
A. Yes our company and crews are fully bonded and insured as required by the state. We can provide proper documentation.
Q. Why do I need to sign this contract?
A.GreenGuard Construction’s policy requires a signed contract with you before we meet with your insurance company and go to work for you.
Q. Will you pay my deductible?
A. We cannot. The payment of deductibles is considered insurance fraud. The state is cracking down on Contractors and Policy holders for participating in this practice.
Q. What type of warranty do I get?
A. GreenGuard Construction Inc stands behind every project we perform by backing our workmanship with a Ten Year Warranty. Upon final payment you will receive your Warranty in writing and it will be valid for ten years from completion date on any workmanship issues.
Q. How long does this process take?
A. Once you decide to file your claim an insurance adjuster should contact you within 72 hours. Set the appointment and call your sales representative. He/she will make sure to attend the appointment. Once approved, the insurance company will issue your first payment or the ACV (Actual Cash Value) of your claim. If your policy requires, you may have to have your mortgage company endorse the check. Let your sales representative know if you need us to sign a W9 so we can help facilitate the process. You then pick out materials and we turn the project into production. We are never more than 10 business days out, depending on weather. Once job is completed we like to pick up the first check. We then fax over the final bill to your insurance company and mail you out the same bill. Insurance company usually sends out the Depreciation (total Replacement Cost Value -RCV- minus your deductible) payment within 5-7 days. All in all, when you choose GreenGuard Construction Inc it is usually a three to four week process from start to finish.
Q.How many jobs does GreenGuard Construction Inc build in a week?
A. We are capable of building 30 jobs per week. We have exclusive crews we have worked with for over five years, and we know they are top quality premiere roofing and siding professionals.
